Garnier Clean Nourishing Cleansing Oil Review

The Promise
Cleaning oil instantly dissolves impurities and long-wear makeup with no greasy residue.

The Truth
This was a very happy find for me.
I have been using coconut oil for years to cleanse my face and I am always on the lookout for oil based cleansers.  I usually stock up whenever i (or anyone i know) head overseas, because they are almost impossible to find here in north America.  So when I found this at my local drugstore, I did a happy dance.

The first thing I noticed about this cleanser, was the lack of strong perfume. It just had a nice hint of fragrance. This was nice because I find that Garnier is not usually a "less is more" company in the fragrance department.
The second thing I noticed was the texture, its a little thicker than i thought it would be, and it felt a little runny.  It spread well on my skin though, it has a nice glide to it.
Garnier recommends following up with a cream cleanser, but i found that this alone did a great job on my combination skin, and i could have gone with just this cleanser alone. It dissolved my makeup (although i dont think it would be effective on waterproof makeup formulas) and left my skin feeling refreshed.  Once it was rinsed away my skin didn't have a hint of oiliness to it.

This is definitely going to be one of my go-tos from now on.

Have you tried it? What do you think/
